Ersatz Engineering is a UK-based sole-trader business. These terms apply alongside the quote and order confirmation.

Quotes and files

Prices depend on the files and specification supplied. We will contact you if a file cannot be printed or the price needs to change. You must have permission to reproduce any file you submit and are responsible for its accuracy. We may refuse unlawful, infringing, unsafe or unsuitable work. You retain ownership of your designs.

Print preparation

We may orient, support or adjust models for printing. Large models may be hollowed where appropriate; hollowed prints require access/drainage holes that remain visible. Tell us before ordering if you require a solid print or specific hole placement. Resin prints can have support marks and minor surface variation.

Payment, delivery and use

Price and shipping charges are shown at checkout or confirmed before work starts. Production and delivery dates are estimates unless agreed otherwise in writing. Unless specifically agreed, prints are not certified for medical, food-contact, load-bearing, safety-critical, high-temperature or regulated use. You are responsible for checking suitability for your application.
